My New Years goes well though paying the price due to the margaritas from the Costco Icee machine. The alcohol was too strong. So Coca Colas only for the rest of 2026. New Years 40 years ago 1986 was even more memorable. 8 was outside playing with my dog for most of the afternoon chasing him around with the loud and annoying New Year’s party horns. Until the dog and I stopped and witnessed a burglary in an abandoned house from across the creek. The thieves were running around the house yelling and cussing in pandemonium. The dog and ran back to the house to tell dad about it which then led to a lengthy police chase across the county.
